Personal and Social Development Skills Qualifications are designed to help learners develop skills and knowledge in personal and social skills. The qualifications will support learners to become confident individuals who are physically, emotionally and socially healthy, be responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society and embrace change and managing risk together with their own well-being.
These qualifications also allow learners to develop knowledge in areas around study, mathematics, literacy and science, appropriate for use by mainstream establishments for students aged 14-19, and for adults.
These qualifications also play a major role in rewarding achievement within the non-formal sector.
